Fire At Gas Station In Hudson Valley Draws Multi-Agency Response (Developing) Emergency crews are battling a fire at a Hudson Valley gas station. Firefighters in Sullivan County responded to the Gulf Station in South Fallsburg, located at State Route 42 and Russell street, for a structure fire shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12. Photos shared by the Woodbridge Fire Department showed a residential building adjacent to the convenience store on fire. It was not immediately clear whether flames had spread to the Gulf Station. Car Stolen From Gas Station While Owner Was In Store In Poughkeepsie: Police A man accused of stealing a vehicle from a Dutchess County gas station while its owner was in the store was apprehended after officers located the car and found him inside, police announced.  The theft happened around 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 6, when patrol officers responded to the Gulf Station at 531 Main St. in the City of Poughkeepsie for a report of a stolen vehicle. According to police, the car was taken while the owner was inside the store, and the suspect had already fled the area. At about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18, troopers in Orange County from the New York State Police Greenville and Middletown barracks responded to the Gulf station located at 249 Dolson Ave. in the town of Wawayanda for a report of a robbery. One Dies After Three-Vehicle Northern Westchester Crash, State Police Say A Connecticut man has died three days after a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley on Route 22. The crash took place on Monday, April 26, on Route 22 in Putnam County in the town of Southeast when a driver struck a vehicle while passing cars on the shoulder of the roadway, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.
