Covid-19: Metro-North Announces Schedule Changes For Hudson Valley Riders Metro-North will be restoring some weekend service lines for Hudson Valley riders as New York continues navigating through the COVID-19 pandemic. The MTA announced that beginning on Monday, April 12, weekend service will be returned to Wassaic and include service adjustments on the Harlem Line weekday schedule to accommodate track work. First Woman Named Metro-North President Catherine Rinaldi has been named the first female president of Metro-North Railroad.  Rinaldi, has served as acting president of Metro-North since July 2017, and previously was Metro-North’s executive vice president, beginning in 2015.  On Wednesday, Feb. 21 she was officially named president.  She replaces Joe Giulietti who resigned last July after three years leading the railroad.
