Hudson Valley Man Caught Spray Painting American/Israeli Flag, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man was caught in the act of allegedly defacing a joint American/Israeli flag with spray paint, police said.
The incident occurred in Rockland County around 4:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the Monsey area of Ramapo.
According to Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, a patrol officer spotted the man wearing a face mask while walking on Main Street in Monsey.
He watched as the man, identified as Benzion Rivlin, age 33, of Monsey, approached a joint American and Israeli flag on the property of a business located at 45 Main St., Franklin said.

A suspect has been arrested for allegedly vandalizing a veteran’s monument inside a Westchester park, police announced.
On Saturday, April 23, the Veterans “Honor Roll” monument at Ma Riis Park in Harrison - which represents wartime vets from the World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and other conflicts - was spray-painted and damaged by a vandal, prompting a police investigation.

Three Juveniles Charged After Graffiti Found At School In Northern Westchester
Three minors are facing charges after graffiti was found at a Northern Westchester school.
On Tuesday, Aug. 25, and Saturday, Aug. 29, officers in Yorktown were called to George Washington Elementary School on Lexington Avenue, where there was reports of a pair of graffiti complaints.
The investigation led detectives to three minors - two 12-year-olds and a 13-year-old - who allegedly spray-painted graffiti at the school, each of whom was charged with juvenile delinquency, Yorktown Police said.

Four Nabbed For Vandalizing Numerous Buildings With Graffiti In Area, Police Say
Four men have been arrested for allegedly "tagging" and spray painting graffiti on numerous buildings in Beacon.
The four, John P. Skivington, 24, Bryan D. Nava, 27, Niko O. Beckles, 24, all of New Windsor, and Carlos Reyes, 21, of Newburgh, were arrested on various dates following the damage discovered on Dec. 23 on Main Street, said Det. Lt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police.
