Pawling Shooting Victim Robbed Of Gucci Backpack, Thousands In Cash, Police Say A 34-year-old man told police he was shot and robbed by a person who jumped in his car while he was stopped to adjust his Bluetooth, the City of Poughkeepsie Police said. Police learned of the incident around noon Wednesday through a 911 call reporting a car crash in front of 52 Catherine St., said Det. Lt. Matt Clark. Additional calls reported a shooting victim in the same area, he added. Responding officers found a vehicle that had been involved in an accident, the driver, a Pawling resident, had been shot once in the leg. He was transported to Vassar Hospital for treatment.
