The Washington County incident happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday, May 12, in the town of Easton. New York State Police said troopers attempted to stop a vehicle on State Route 40 for traffic violation when the driver failed to stop, leading to a pursuit. The Washington County break-in happened at around 7:40 a.m. Sunday, July 16, in Easton, at the Beecroft’s Shooters Supply on State Route 40. A Kia Sportage intentionally drove into the store’s front door, allowing several people to enter and steal items, according to New York State Police. The owner told investigators that no guns appeared to be missing. Troopers said the suspects fled the scene in the Kia, which had been stolen in Schenectady. The car was later recovered…
