30-Year-Old Apprehended After Series Of Violent Attacks In Hudson Valley Town A Hudson Valley police officer and several others were injured by a 30-year-old man during a series of violent attacks. Jamel M. Williams, address unknown, was arrested in Dutchess County on Wednesday, Oct. 26, in the town of East Fishkill. According to East Fishkill Police, officers responded around 9:20 a.m., to Sunset Drive for the report of a burglary in progress where a female homeowner was being assaulted by Williams. Area Man Threatening To Set His Vehicle On Fire Surrenders, Police Say A man was taken to an area hospital for observation after calling the police and telling them he was sitting in a vehicle doused with gasoline and explosives. The incident took place around 1 a.m., Sunday, April 11, on Main Street in the City of Beacon, said Detective Sergeant Jason Johnson of the City of Beacon Police Department. According to Johnson, the 64-year man called Dutchess County 911 and stated that he was sitting in his vehicle doused in gasoline with explosives and a loaded firearm.  He also threatened to use them if anyone approached, Johnson said.  …
