A dealer in the region who was found guilty of numerous counts of drug sales and possession faces up to 30 years in prison. Dutchess County resident Spencer Green, age 47, of Poughkeepsie, was convicted on Monday, Oct. 21, of 10 felony drug-related crimes with less than an hour of deliberations from the jury. Hudson Valley Man Charged With Homicide In Fentanyl Death
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with homicide for allegedly selling fentanyl to a man who later died. Orange County resident Timothy Lempicki, age 36, of Washingtonville, a village in Blooming Grove, was indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, Nov. 30. According to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, Lempicki was also charged with manslaughter, and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Two Dutchess County alleged drug dealers have been charged with the criminal sale of controlled substances after an investigation by a drug task force. Dutchess County residents Tyrese Elting, age 24, of the town of Poughkeepsie, and Brandon Mima, age 20, from the city of Poughkeepsie were arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 14 during separate raids by the Dutchess County Task Force. A Hudson Valley man is charged with both possessing and selling illegal drugs discovered by authorities during a search of his home, police said. Three boys have been arrested for allegedly selling drugs at a high school in the region in connection with three girls exhibiting overdose symptoms.
