Local Man Who Worked As Store Manager In Northern Westchester Dies At Age 31 A Westchester native and local store manager who grew up in Putnam County has died at the age of 31. Thomas Schupp II, a native of White Plains, and a graduate of Mahopac High School, died on Monday, Dec. 20.  Schupp worked as the manager of the Wireless Zone in Bedford. He was 24 years old. He was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and worked as a chef at Le Bernardin in Manhattan, where he was promoted nine times. His giftedness excelled in the culinary arts. He exuded much love and pride in preparing gourmet meals, both professionally and personally.
