5 Nabbed On Gun Charges During Hudson Valley Stop, Police Say Five people were charged with allegedly having loaded weapons during a Hudson Valley traffic stop. The incident occurred in Orange County around 3:40 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 25, in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, the department, along with the New York State Police, performed a vehicle stop at Exit 116 on Route 17, which led to the arrest of five of the five suspects. DWI Crash: 23-Year-Old Hudson Valley Woman Nabbed After Losing Control Of Car, Police Say A 23-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated and without a license after crashing her car in the region, police said. Ulster County resident Rosa M. Morales, of Lake Katrine, was charged on Thursday, Aug. 31 in the town of Esopus. According to Ulster County Sheriff's Sgt. Collin Reynolds, around 6:30 p.m. deputies responded to a one-car rollover crash on Mill Brook Drive. Brooke Tschudy, age 28, of Yorktown, was charged on Tuesday, Sept. 21 after officers were dispatched to Oakside Road.  An investigation by Yorktown Police found that Tschudy was driving while her privilege to do so was suspended for failing to answer a summons and for possession of heroin, police said. Man Caught With Cocaine During Traffic Stop In Area, Police Say A Poughkeepsie man was allegedly nabbed with cocaine during a traffic stop. Hector R. Ramos, 32, was arrested following a stop on Main Street on Monday, July 22, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Officer Matthew Galli. A police investigation found that Ramos was allegedly in possession of approximately 1.5 grams of cocaine and that he was driving without a valid license, Galli said. Ramos was charged with possession of a controlled substance and driving without a license. Kevin A. Valenzuela, 29, of Yorktown Heights, was stopped around 2 a.m. Saturday, April 14, by Deputy Sheriff Ronald Yeager after he observed the vehicle, which he knew the owner was wanted while patrolling the Lake Peekskill area of Putnam Valley. Valenzuela was charged with driving without a license and on a bench warrant for failure to appear.
