Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Trying To Kill Mom, Aunt In Fit Of Rage A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man has been charged with allegedly attempting to kill his mother and aunt in a fit of rage by stabbing them numerous times.  Orange County resident Donnie Smith of Newburgh was charged on Tuesday, April 30, with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder.
