Duo Charged With Stealing Car, Credit Cards In Northern Westchester: Police
Two people, one a minor, have been charged with stealing a car and other items in Northern Westchester, police say.
On Monday, Nov. 7, police responded to a report that two suspects were trespassing on private property and attempting to break into locked vehicles in Croton-on-Hudson, according to Croton-on-Hudson Police.
Police soon located the two suspects and found them to be in possession of stolen property, including two credit cards, police said.

Matters Coffee is located at 50 Maple St. in Croton-on-Hudson.
The coffee shop focuses on offering responsibly-sourced and sustainable beverages, according to the Matters Coffee website.
Throughout the fall, Matters Coffee is also offering a seasonal menu, with caffeinated and non-caffeinated options, including pumpkin pie chai, apple cider, pumpkin cinnamon iced coffee, and caramel apple steamer.

Hundreds Of Drivers Shown Passing School Buses At District In Northern Westchester
A pilot program employed by a Northern Westchester school district has found that nearly 400 drivers illegally passed stopped school buses over the span of two months.
The program, used by the Hendrick Hudson School District which serves over 2,000 students in Buchanan, Verplanck, Crugers, Montrose, Cortlandt Manor, Croton-on-Hudson, and Peekskill, came from a partnership with technology provider BusPatrol, officials from the company announced on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
