A Fairfield County teenager was allegedly drunk and driving without a license when he threw items at another vehicle on I-84, police said. Danbury resident John Victor Medeiros, 18, was arrested on Route 7 in Danbury shortly before 11 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, after State Police tracked him down following reports of a motorist on the interstate who was “throwing things” at them. The family and friends of missing mother of five Jennifer Farber Dulos say the arrest of her estranged husband Fotis Dulos on murder charges, does not bring closure. Video: Man Live-Streaming Himself Driving 100 MPH Crashes Car On I-95, State Police Say
Sometimes a trooper’s accident report writes itself. Connecticut State Police said the operator of a vehicle was kind enough to publicly live stream himself traveling on Interstate 95 over the Gold Star Memorial Bridge near Montville while driving at speeds reaching 100 mph before crashing. Click here to view the video. The posted speed limit for the Gold Star Memorial Bridge is 55 mph. "Speeding and live streaming are not only dangerous, but it is also illegal," the department said. Luckily, the driver was wearing his seatbelt and wasn't seriously injured.

A state patrol cruiser was among two vehicles hit by a Tesla driving in autopilot on a busy stretch of Interstate 95 in Fairfield County. It happened on Saturday morning, Dec. 7 on the northbound side near Exit 15 in Norwalk, Connecticut State Police said. Two police cars responded to a disabled vehicle in the left-center lane when the incident occurred.
