Bob's Stores To Close All Locations After Filing For Bankruptcy; Retailer Liquidating Inventory Bob's Stores, the family apparel and shoe retailer, will close all of its 21 locations throughout the Northeast after the company said it is bankrupt. The stores will remain open through July 14 as the company sells its remaining items at greatly reduced prices. Some things were marked down as much as 70 percent, according to a news release. Orange County resident Anthony Apostolico, age 48, of Chester, died on Sunday, June 19, when a tree fell on top of a pickup truck that he was a passenger in.  Police said the accident happened in Rockland County on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Stony Point. Fair officials announced on Wednesday, June 3, they had "made the incredibly emotional and difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Dutchess County Fair," due to concerns for the safety of the many guests.
