Serious Injuries Reported After Wrong-Way, Head-On Crash On I-95 In Fairfield County A 27-year-old man suffered serious injuries after plowing head-on into a tractor-trailer while driving in the wrong direction on I-95 in Fairfield County. The crash took place in Stamford around 2:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 18 south of Exit 7, said the Connecticut State Police. According to state police, the tractor-trailer was traveling south on I-95 when it was hit head-on by a 2016 Ford Edge SUV which was traveling in the wrong direction. Person Killed After BMW Crashes Into Back Of Tractor-Trailer On Hudson Valley Roadway One person was killed after running into the back of a tractor-trailer in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Orange County around 10 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 13 on Route 17 in Goshen. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, a 2002 BMW 330CI was traveling westbound when the driver rear-ended a 2018 Volvo tractor with a trailer in the right lane.  The driver was pronounced dead on the scene, state police said. The crash occurred in Dutchess County around 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 in the town of Clinton, on Slate Quarry Road. An initial investigation determined Lisa M. Drozdowski, age 52, of Clinton, was heading eastbound on Slate Quarry Road and left the roadway for unknown reasons, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.
