Two men face up to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder in a brutal Hudson Valley home invasion.
Rockland County District Attorney Thomas Walsh announced on Thursday, March 3, the guilty plea of two Brooklyn men to attempted murder and endangering the welfare of a child stemming from a home invasion in Garnerville.
On the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, Dwayne Holmes, age 39, and Keinone Wilson, age 36, entered an apartment on Hasbrouck Drive in Garnerville while two minor children were in the home, the DA's Office said.

Westchester Woman Faces Child Porn Charges
A Westchester County woman is one of two people facing child pornography charges following an investigation.
Dilicia Aguirre-Orellana, age 22, of Yonkers, and 33-year-old Jonathan Rivera, of Brooklyn, were both charged with production and receipt and distribution of child pornography, according to an announcement on Monday, Feb. 28, from Damian Williams, the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York.
Aguirre-Orellana was also charged with possession of child pornography, Williams said.

Four Long Island residents are among five New Yorkers facing charges for a multi-million dollar “boiler room” fraud and money laundering scheme, federal officials announced.
US Attorney Damian Williams announced that five suspects are facing a host of charges for their alleged roles in the $8.4 million scheme to defraud investors around the world and launder the proceeds from the scheme.

Two Busted With 148 Grams Of Crack Cocaine During Taconic Parkway Stop, State Police Say
New York State Police troopers on patrol on the Taconic State Parkway in Dutchess County busted two with nearly 150 grams of crack cocaine, authorities announced.
Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2021 Chevrolet Malibu at approximately 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26 for a vehicle and traffic violation on the parkway in Pleasant Valley, investigators announced on Monday, Jan. 31.
