New York Woman Wins $1 Million Powerball Prize
A New York woman has claimed a $1 million Powerball prize.
Anita Busgith, of Brooklyn, claimed her prize for matching the first five numbers in the Sept. 29, 2021, drawing, New York Lottery announced on Tuesday, June 7.
She received her prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $610,408 after required withholdings, NY Lottery said.
The ticket was purchased at Foster Island Corporation, which is located at 9702 Foster Ave. in Brooklyn, the lottery reported.

The story of the death of Long Island native Julio Ramirez, began on Wednesday, April 20, when the young social worker met up with a friend for a night out in Hell’s Kitchen, reported NBC News.
The two men visited several bars with their last stop being the Ritz Bar and Lounge, a gay venue, located in the neighborhood's Restaurant Row, NBC reported.
