Fatal Crash: 32-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man ID'd As Victim A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man was killed during a crash with another vehicle on Route 299. The incident took place in Ulster County around 7:15. p.m., Thursday, Oct. 19 in the town of Gardiner. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, Dutchess County resident Daniel Curtin, of Wappingers Falls, was driving a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle when he was struck by a 2012 Subaru that crossed over the double-yellow line. Nevel said Curtin was gravely injured and died from his injuries despite the efforts of the troopers and EMS on the scene. This investigation is ongoing.

Fatal Crash: 56-Year-Old Victim ID'd In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man who was involved in a two-vehicle crash died from his injuries. The crash took place in Orange County around 9:30 p.m., Monday, April 17 on Route 211 in the town of Wallkill. When officers arrived on the scene, they discovered a 2012 Subaru driven by Juan M. Castillo, age 37, of the town of Wallkill, had struck a 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle operated by 56-year-old George Marse of Port Jervis, said Wallkill Police Deputy Chief Antonino Spano.
