The Saratoga County incident began around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, when a resident reported their car stolen from the driveway of their Saratoga Springs home. Officers spotted the vehicle a short time later on Circular Street and initiated a traffic stop, but the driver refused to pull over. The Albany teen is accused of stealing at least six iPhones after arranging to meet the victims on Facebook Marketplace, according to Albany Police. On six separate occasions between August and September 2023, police responded to several calls where the victims agreed to meet the suspect at a specified location to sell an iPhone or iPad they had posted for sale online. 17-Year-Old Dies After Jumping From Bridge In Newtown A 17-year-old boy has died after being pulled from the water underneath a bridge in Fairfield County that he had jumped from, police said.  The 17-year-old's death resulted from an incident that happened on Thursday, July 27 just before 2 p.m., when Newtown Police officers responded to the Silver Bridge on Glen Road near the Southbury town line after receiving a call for help. According to Newtown Police, officers soon discovered that a 17-year-old from Bridgeport had jumped into the water under the bridge and had not resurfaced.  The boy had been with a group of friends who had …
