Car Vs. Pole Accident Also Damages Fire Hydrant In Dutchess

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A serious accident in which a vehicle struck a telephone pole was reported late Friday afternoon in Poughkeepsie.

Central Hudson and city DPW workers are at the scene.

A separate accident was reported at 5 p.m. on Route 82 at Lomala Road in Hopewell Junction.
