POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- We asked. You answered. In our hunt for the best pizza in Dutchess, Giacomo's, with six locations throughout the county, was selected by you -- our readers -- among the top three.

Most Popular Slice Sold: Cheese; the eatery is also known for its Rio Rancho, made with mozzarella, bacon, diced tomato, and ranch dressing, and the Buffalo chicken, with chicken cutlet, celery, blue cheese, and hot sauce.

Key to Success: Free Wi-fi. Beer and wine served at certain locations. A brand-new dining room at its Wappingers site. Promotions such as a free glass of wine or beer with the purchase of two dinners; senior discounts; free soda with the purchase of three sandwiches, and other daily specials.
