Kids and parents can have fun while they learn about what procedures available at the hospital in the clinic from 9 to 11 a.m.
The event will also feature a Healthy You Expo with art, mediation, exercise, music and healthy food featured from noon to 3 p.m.
The opening marks Northern Dutchess Hospital’s $47 million Martin and Toni Sosnoff Pavilion.
The public is invited to tour the three-level amenity rich building.
The pavilion houses private patient suites, a high-tech surgery department as well as conveniently located doctors’ offices.
It will open to patients Saturday, Feb. 13.
The Teddy bear clinic will allow children to receive a free bear they will take to care stations for "checkups" in the Sosnoff Pavilion. Free healthy snacks will be available.
Space is limited to 50 children ages 3 to 8.
Registration is required by Jan. 29.
Participants may get health screenings and attend yoga, aerobics and strength building classes in the Wellness Center.
