One person was killed after a vehicle left the roadway in Northern Westchester County and crashed into a guardrail.
It happened around 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 in Chappaqua on the southbound Saw Mill Parkway.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, Westchester County Police said. A passenger was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The southbound lanes of the parkway were closed in that area for several hours for an investigation by Westchester County PD patrol officers and members of the Accident Investigation Team.
The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
