21-Year-Old Accused Of Impersonating Homeland Security Officer On Long Island
A Long Island man has been apprehended after authorities say he impersonated an officer. According to Nassau County Police detectives, Seth Newman, age 21, of Great Neck, was driving a black 2021 Dodge Charger in New Hyde Park in the vicinity of Marcus Avenue and New Hyde Park Road at around noontime Sunday, Oct. 27. An investigation is underway after a fatal stabbing death of a man at a party overnight at a Long Island residence. It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday, Oct, 27, in Huntington Station. Two workers suffered injuries after a car crash into a Long Island business. It happened around 12:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, in North Merrick. A 24-year-old woman driving a 2019 Dodge Charger, was involved in a collision with a 2019 Jeep Cherokee being operated by a 71-year-old woman, Nassau County Police said. A Long Island resident has been accused of intentionally striking another woman with her vehicle. The incident happened around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 in North Bellport. One person suffered severe injuries in an overnight Long Island crash. It happened around 9:50 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Islip. A 54-year-old Bay Shore man was crossing Brentwood Road at the intersection of Colorado Avenue, when he was struck by a northbound 2018 Hyundai Elantra. A man is hospitalized with serious injuries after being attacked by a man wielding a baseball bat at a popular Long Island fishing hole. A man is facing charges after allegedly pulling a knife on two employees at a Long Island business. The incident happened in Inwood, at the Smoke Bazaar smoke shop on Burnside Avenue, at around 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24. Nassau County Police said 23-year-old Cristhian Reyes got into an argument with two male employees, one 19 and the other 33.
