Shooting Update: 2 Men Injured In Region, Suspect On Run Police are investigating after two men were shot while visiting a Hudson Valley home. The incident occurred in Orange County at 7:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, in front of 31.5 Lake Ave. in Middletown. According to Middletown Police Lt. Jeffry Thoelen, officers responded to the area after receiving several 911 calls reporting shots fired. Officers located evidence consistent with a shooting but no injured people. Thoelen said while officers began securing the crime scene, they received another 911 call from a man reporting that he was currently transporting two men with gunshot wounds…

Man From Region Stabbed Multiple Times During Assault A Hudson Valley man is recovering after being stabbed multiple times during an assault. The incident occurred in Orange County around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, in the town of Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Lt. Robert McLymore, officers responded to an assault at 265 Route 211 E. and found a 64-year-old Middletown man. Man Found Dead In Pool At Home In Region Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a Hudson Valley home pool. The incident occurred in Orange County around 12:15 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12, on Aster Way in Wallkill. According to Wallkill Police Lt. Robert McLymore, officers discovered the victim, a 79-year-old Sullivan County man from Rock Hill, unconscious and unresponsive while in the pool.  Officers and EMS immediately began life-saving measures, including CPR, McLymore said. Nosworthy Jr, of the town of Wallkill, died on Monday, Sept. 9, at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown. He was 84. The son of the late Thomas F. Nosworthy Sr. and Beatice Nosworthy, he was born on May 10, 1940, in New York City, according to his obituary.  Tom was a US Navy veteran who served active duty with NORAD in the Pacific during the Cold War. Driver Critical Following 3-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash One person is in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 12:16 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, on Route 211 West in Wallkill. According to Lt.
