'Perfect Son:' Family Mourns Loss Of 12-Year-Old Middletown Boy
Support is on the rise for Middletown parents mourning the loss of their 12-year-old son. Maddox Leon Elizalde-Fuentes, died on Thursday, Dec. 19. A cause of death was not made public. A devastating Christmas night car crash in the region claimed the lives of two teens from Orange and Sullivan counties, including one who was preparing to celebrate his 16th birthday. The crash, which happened in the Sullivan County village of Liberty on Wednesday, Dec. 25, claimed the lives of 17-year-old Orange County resident Hannah Reggio of Middletown and 15-year-old Sullivan County resident Joseph Young of Fallsburg, police said. NY 17-Year-Old Who Died During Hockey Game Was 'Beacon Of Sportsmanship, Leadership'
The Long Island hockey community is mourning the loss of a rising young star who collapsed and died during a charity game over Thanksgiving weekend. Connor Kasin, age 17, lost consciousness at around 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, during an intermission at the Town of Oyster Bay Skating Center on Stewart Avenue in Bethpage, Nassau County Police said. 'Adventurous Spirit': Pilot Killed In NY Plane Crash Remembered For 'Palpable Zest For Life'
Natalie Gillis saw much of the world in her 34 years, most of it from the air. The pilot from Toronto, Canada died Monday morning, June 17, when her twin engine Piper plane crashed just moments after taking off from Albany International Airport.
