Traffic Alert: Bridge Replacement To Close Roadway In Region Drivers should note that a section of a Sullivan County roadway will be closed for a bridge replacement. The replacement will occur in the town of Cochecton on County Road 115—Odell Road. The bridge is located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road with County Road 115, said Dan Hurst, spokesman for Sullivan County.  This section of the roadway is scheduled to be closed to all traffic starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and will remain closed for approximately three weeks.  Travelers will be directed on a detour route using Fred White Road and Tyler Road.

Fatal Crash: 37-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man ID'd As Victim In 3-Vehicle Pileup Police have identified a 37-year-old Hudson Valley man who was killed in a crash in the region.   Orange County resident Sher Singh, of Middletown, died around dd12:05 p.m., Thursday, July 11, during a three-vehicle crash with a tractor-trailer in Sullivan County on Route 155 in the town of Cochecton.
