Traffic Alert: Bridge Replacement To Close Roadway In Region Drivers should note that a section of a Sullivan County roadway will be closed for a bridge replacement. The replacement will occur in the town of Cochecton on County Road 115—Odell Road. The bridge is located immediately west of the intersection of Fred White Road with County Road 115, said Dan Hurst, spokesman for Sullivan County.  This section of the roadway is scheduled to be closed to all traffic starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, and will remain closed for approximately three weeks.  Travelers will be directed on a detour route using Fred White Road and Tyler Road.

The New York State Department of Transportation advises motorists traveling in Northern Westchester County that Illington Road will be closed at the Taconic State Parkway in the Village of Ossining. The DOT said the closure, from Monday, July 29, through Monday, Nov. 18, is to facilitate a bridge rehabilitation project, weather permitting. Motorists should follow the posted detour as an alternate. The roadway closure is necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of key bridges in the Hudson Valley.
