Barstool Sports Lending Support To Family Of Teacher From Region Killed In Murder-Suicide Following a horrific murder-suicide that left a beloved Westchester teacher and mom dead, community members and media company Barstool Sports are coming to the aid of her three children.  The outpouring of support follows the death of Eastchester Union Free School District teacher Arlene O’Neill, age 47, who was killed in a shooting at her Yonkers home on Chittenden Avenue on Wednesday morning, Oct. 16.  According to police, O’Neill, a fifth-grade teacher at the Anne Hutchinson School, was fatally shot by her husband, retired New York City Police Department officer…

Trench Collapse Traps Victim At Westchester Residence This story has been updated. Emergency responders in Westchester had to free a victim who was trapped in a trench collapse.  The collapse happened on Friday, March 10 in Yonkers at a residence at 15 Frederic Place when a person was waterproofing the foundation of the home, according to Yonkers Police.  Members from the Yonkers PD and Fire Department were eventually able to rescue the person by 5:50 p.m. on Friday.
