Restaurant To Close After 21 Years Flooded With Business In Capital Region A popular Capital Region Chinese bistro and bakery said they are slammed with orders after announcing the restaurant would close for good next week.  Hong Kong Bakery & Bistro in Colonie announced in a Facebook post last week that the owners —  Berry Lai and Shu Lam Chan — were retiring and would shutter the eatery on Monday, Aug. 26.  Since then, the Wolf Road restaurant has been slammed with orders and had long wait times as staff deal with the rush of customers looking for one more order of dim sum or some of the popular bakery items, it said in a follow-up post. …

The Albany County wreck happened at around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22, in Colonie on Wolf Road near Marcus Boulevard. A preliminary investigation found that a 68-year-old Colonie man was heading northbound on Wolf Road when he suffered a medical emergency, according to Colonie Police.
