It happened in Dutchess County around 7:10 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, in Pleasant Valley.  New York State Police said a 55-year-old Poughkeepsie man was driving a 2006 Honda sedan eastbound on Sherow Road when he failed to stop at the intersection with North Avenue.  The vehicle crossed both lanes of North Avenue, ultimately hitting a barrier on the east shoulder, said police. Man Found Drowning In Hudson Valley Lake Dies At Hospital A man died after he was found unresponsive in waters near a Hudson Valley beach, police announced.  The incident leading to the man's death began in Putnam County on Tuesday, July 16 around 1:45 p.m., when a possible drowning incident was reported at Canopus Lake Beach in Fahnestock State Park off Route 301 in Kent.  According to Kent Police, arriving first responders and police helped park staff and lifeguards perform CPR on an 82-year-old man who was found unresponsive in waters near the beach.  A LifeNet helicopter then responded and airlifted the man to Vassar Brothers M…
