Tyrone Malcolm, 39, of Middletown, NY, has been charged with murder in connection to the fatal shooting of 28-year-old Mohammed Sahariar, which also left his co-worker with critical injuries, according to Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. 14-Year-Old Student With Knife Prompts Lockdown At Capital Region High School, Police Say A 14-year-old is facing charges after allegedly being caught with a knife on a school campus in the region. Police in Albany were called at around 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, for a person with a weapon at Albany High School. When they arrived, they located the student and arrested him without incident, according to Albany Police. An investigation found that there was an altercation between students in the hallway shortly before police arrived. The incident forced the campus into a brief lockdown. The incident happened just before 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 in Poughkeepsie in the area of 55 Washington St. Officers responded to a report of multiple shots fired opposite Poughkeepsie City Hall. No gunshot victims were found but property damage was observed, and officers were informed of a vehicle that had fled the scene, Poughkeepsie PD Det. Sgt. Reports Of Student With Gun Prompt Lockdown At Capital Region High School A high school in the region was placed on a lockdown after several students reported that a classmate had a gun. Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies were called to Shenendehowa High School West in Clifton Park at around 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, after a student told their parent that another student possibly had a gun, officials said. Student Accused Of Bringing Loaded Gun To School In Hudson Valley A 14-year-old student at a Hudson Valley middle school was arrested for allegedly bringing a loaded BB gun to school. The incident took place in Orange County around 8:40 a.m., on Thursday, April 21 in Middletown. According to Wallkill Police, School Resource Officer Michael Mills was alerted by school officials of a student in possession of a BB gun at Mohangen Middle School, located at 555 County Route 78, in Middletown  An investigation by Det.
