21-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Killed In Crash
This story has been updated. A 21-year-old man was killed during a two-car crash after allegedly losing control of his vehicle in the region. The crash occurred in Ulster County around 3:55 p.m., Saturday, March 9 in the town of Ulster on Route 209 south of Sawkill Road. According to Ulster Police Chief Kyle Berardi, an investigation found that Noah Ortman, age 21, of Ulster, was driving a 1997 Ford Mustang southbound when he lost control of the vehicle, crossed the grass median into the northbound lane of Route 209, and was struck by a 2022 Jeep Wrangler, driven by a 24-year-old man. …

A 25-year-old Hudson Valley man has been identified as the person who jumped off an area bridge to their death. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1 at the Kingston-Rhinecliff Bridge in Rhinebeck. The victim is Dutchess County resident Alex J. Man Found Dead After 3-Day Search In Hudson Valley
A 45-year-old man who had been missing for several days was found dead in the Hudson Valley by state forest rangers assisted by state police. The unidentified Brooklyn man's body was found in Ulster County at the Mohonk Preserve in Marbletown, on Friday, March 17, by rescuers who had been searching the steep, rocky terrain for three days after his vehicle was found in the parking lot of the preserve, said Jeff Wernick of the New York Department of Conservation.
