21-Year-Old From Region Scheduled To Be Released From Prison Now Held On Rape Charge A man from the region who was due to be released from prison on an unrelated charge is now being held after being accused of raping a young girl. In early September, the Ulster County Sheriff's Office Corrections Intelligence Unit discovered that an incarcerated man at the Ulster County Jail had been electronically communicating with a 14-year-old girl who did not appear to have a familial connection to him.  The individual was quickly identified as Ronald L. Man Charged With Possessing 1K Grams Of Cocaine During Hudson Valley Traffic Stop A 35-year-old man is behind bars for allegedly possessing more than 1,035 grams of cocaine found during a routine traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place around 5:15 p.m., Monday, Jan. 22 in Ulster County on I-87 in the town of Ulster. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, Lloyd Craig, of Providence, Rhode Island, was stopped for a traffic violation.
