Fatal Crash: 19-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Region A 19-year-old was killed in a two-vehicle crash after he allegedly ran a red light in the region, striking another car. Capital Region Trucker Killed Retrieving Item On Roadway A 36-year-old New York trucker was killed Friday morning, Aug. 16, when he climbed out of his cab after a small accident in Massachusetts before another truck crashed into him, authorities said.  In Hampden County, Nicholas Charles, a resident of Mechanicville in Saratoga County was struck just after 9:45 a.m. near mile marker 33 of Route 90 in Blandford, Massachusetts State Police said.  Police says Charles had struck a guardrail and noticed something had come dislodged from his truck, authorities said. 13-Year-Old Riding Bicycle Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Residential Roadway In Hudson Valley Police are investigating a crash in which a boy was killed on a residential roadway in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 in Rockland County. That's when the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the village of Pomona at the intersection of High Mountain Road and Overlook Road. Man Lying In Roadway Struck, Killed By Car In Capital Region A 64-year-old man was struck and killed by a car in the region while lying in the roadway. The incident happened at around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 29, in Albany’s Pine Hills neighborhood.
