Man From Region Nabbed For Assault, Knocking Victim's Teeth Out, Police Say A man from the region was charged with assault after he allegedly broke into a home and knocked a victim's teeth out.  The incident occurred in Sullivan County on Saturday, Nov. 16, in the Town of Thompson. According to Sullivan County Sheriff's Office Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies encountered Xavier Vega, age 30, of Monticello. Man From Region Attacks Deputies After Narcan Brings Him Back To Life, Police Say A 40-year-old who overdosed on drugs and was brought back to life with Narcan allegedly attacked deputies who saved him, police said. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Lake Kiamesha around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 on Route 42. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies responded to the scene of a vehicle crash and found a 2022 Toyota Prius in a ditch and Robert Forgione, of Loch Sheldrake, sitting on the ground against the car. 49-Year-Old Charged With Rape After Joint Investigation In Region A 49-year-old man from the region is behind bars, accused of rape. Sullivan County resident Hummler Colas, of the town of Thompson, was arrested following a joint investigation by New York State Police and Sullivan County Child Protective Services. Police did not specify the age of the alleged victim or the relationship between the two. Colas was charged with third-degree rape and criminal sex act, both felonies, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
