Suspect On Loose After Teen Stabbed In Broad Daylight In Region Police iare searching for a suspect in connection with an altercation that left a teen stabbed in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 29, around 4 p.m. in the area of Main Street and South Brett Street in Beacon.  According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, the victim, a 16-year-old, suffered a superficial wound to the leg and was treated and released from the hospital.  The investigation is ongoing.  This is a developing story. Teen Gang Assault: 5 Suspects Accused Of Repeatedly Beating 16-Year-Old In Hudson Valley Five Hudson Valley teens have been charged with allegedly repeatedly beating a 16-year-old causing bleeding from his mouth and nose. The incident took place in Ulster County near the entrance to the Berme Road Park in Ellenville. After the teen was able to break away and run, the five continued to follow him as he fled the park and beat him again at two other locations including at 244 Canal St., said Chief Phillip Mattracion, of the Ellenville Police. 14-Year-Old Stabbed Over 'Ongoing issue' Between Teens In Region, Police Say A 14-year-old boy was stabbed during a fight with another teen over an "ongoing issue," authorities said. The attack took place in Columbia County around 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17 in the city of Hudson. Officers responded to the Hudson Terrace Apartments on Front Street for a reported stabbing via 911, said City of Hudson Chief of Police L. Edward Moore.
