A 27-year-old man died after jumping from a Costco parking deck in Yonkers, police confirmed Sunday morning, Jan. 5. The man was found near the Home Depot by a maintenance worker just after 6 a.m., Yonkers Police Sgt. Robert Spink confirmed. The two businesses share a complex along Sprain Road. A 34-year-old woman died at a hospital after jumping from an apartment building's roof near the Hudson River in the region. Police have identified a woman who jumped to her death from a bridge in the region on Tuesday, Nov. 14. Original report: Woman Jumps From Newburgh-Beacon Bridge Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police announced on Thursday, Nov. 16 that the body of Dutchess County resident Stacy M. Shanahan, age 49, of Beekman, was the person who was found dead under the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge near Fishkill. No signs of foul play have been discovered at this time, Hicks said.
