Group Stealing Mail Nabbed In Region After Fiery Crash: Police A man and a juvenile were nabbed after police responded to a suspicious vehicle call. The occupants allegedly removed items from a mailbox in front of a home. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 12:10 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 8, in Tomkins Cove. According to Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel Schoales, responding officers located a vehicle matching the description on Mott Farm Road. Fatal Crash ID: Police Release New Details After SUV Crashes Into Tree In Hudson Valley Authorities have released the identity of a man killed in a single-vehicle crash on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. The crash occurred in Rockland County around 3 a.m., Sunday, Feb. 26 on the Palisades Parkway in Haverstraw.
