A man from the region was nabbed for allegedly stealing a vehicle after fleeing from state police. The incident began in Putnam County on Wednesday, Jan. 31 in Brewster on westbound I-84 after New York State Police spotted a vehicle matching the description of a suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash. Woman Busted Driving Stolen Car While Drunk In Capital Region, Police Say
A 44-year-old woman from the region is facing charges after police allegedly caught her driving a stolen car while intoxicated. Troopers stopped Kelly Golden, of Albany, at around 10:40 p.m. Monday, May 29, for an alleged vehicle and traffic law violation on Washington Avenue in Albany. During their interaction, troopers determined that Golden was under the influence of alcohol and arrested her, according to State Police. A teenager was arrested in the region after attempting to flee from police in a stolen vehicle during a chase that started in Albany County and ended in Greene County.
