Firefighter Falls Through Floor While Battling Blaze At Home In Region A firefighter fell through a floor during the response to a blaze at a Northern Westchester residence. The blaze began on Tuesday, Oct. 29 inside the laundry room at a North Salem home on Nash Road, according to the Croton Falls Fire Department.  Arriving fire crews soon began dousing the flames with hose lines and started making their way inside. Missing Woman Found Dead At Bottom Of Cliff In Region A missing woman who had not been seen in a day was located by a New York State Police drone at the bottom of a Hudson Valley cliff.  The incident occurred in Orange County around 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 27, at the Hawk's Nest in Sparrow Bush. Driver Flown to Hospital After Truck Rolls Over On I-84 In Region An interstate in the Hudson Valley was temporarily closed after a truck overturned, injuring the driver.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 10, when a truck crashed on the eastbound lanes of Interstate 84 just east of Route 312 in Brewster, according to the Brewster Fire Department.  As a result of the crash, the driver became trapped inside the truck's twisted structure. Driver Rescued After SUV Crashes Into Auto Parts Store In Region A driver had to be rescued after an SUV crashed into an auto parts store in the region. Fire officials in Dutchess County said crews were called to the Dover Plains store in Dover Village Plaza Tuesday, April 19, with reports of a car into a building. Arriving crews found the SUV with its rear end protruding from an exterior wall and the driver still stuck inside, fire officials said. They had to cut away part of the building in order to free the trapped occupant. Fire officials said medics evaluated the patient at the scene and found no injuries. It's unclear what led up to the crash.
