Family Dollar Killing: Teen Admits Gunning Down Man At Capital Region Store Nearly a year after a husband and father of five was shot to death outside a Family Dollar store in the region, a teenager has formally confessed to killing him. Jahteek Sanchez, age 17 or 18, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in Rensselaer County Court on Friday, May 17, in the death of Alexander Crawford. Rensselaer County resident Paul Coleman, of the Town of Grafton, was arraigned on an arson charge in Rensselaer County Court on Friday, June 9. According to sheriff’s officials, Coleman set fire to the detached garage located next to his apartment building on State Route 2 in the Town of Grafton. The structure was deemed a total loss.
