Cherry Jr., age 56, was found bludgeoned to death at his Putnam County residence in Patterson on River Road on Sunday, Sept. 10, when New York State Police responded to a reported domestic incident. A 27-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly repeatedly stabbing another man outside a Hudson Valley restaurant. The incident took place in Putnam County around 4 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 16 in the town of Southeast at the La Patrona Mexican Restaurant at 182 Route 22. Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J. A suspect has been charged after the stabbing of a 27-year-old man outside a Hudson Valley restaurant. On Sunday, Oct. 16, in Putnam County at approximately 4 a.m. sheriff's deputies were dispatched to the La Patrona Mexican Restaurant at 182 Route 22 in Southeast for a dispute in progress with a knife involved. Man With Gun Apprehended After Dispute In Hudson Valley
A man was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun during a dispute in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Putnam County around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 in Mahopac. According to Lt. Michael Bodo, of the Carmel Police, officers were dispatched to the area of 912 Route 6 in Mahopac for a possible person with a gun. Officers arrived within a minute and found that Zongbo Xu, age 48, of Queens, had reportedly displayed a handgun during the dispute, Bodo said. Rapist Caught After Assault On Hudson Valley Trailway, Police Say
An alleged rapist was nabbed by police after he allegedly assaulted a woman on a popular Hudson Valley Trailway. The incident took place in Mahopac shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 10 on the Putnam Trailway. According to Lt. Michael Bodo, of the Carmel Police, the department was notified of a sexual assault on the Trailway near Weber Hill Road in Mahopac.
