Hudson Valley Man Charged With Attacking Trooper On Busy Highway A Hudson Valley man has been charged with resisting arrest after he allegedly attacked a New York State Trooper attempting to talk with him. The incident took place in Orange County on Thursday, Feb. 1 on I-84 in the town of Wawayanda. The attack began after a trooper located Jahri Evans, age 24, of the town of Wallkill, walking along I-84, said Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police.  Evans initially gave the trooper a fake name and continued to walk away. 21-Year-Old Caught Printing Pistols In Hudson Valley, Police Say A Hudson Valley man has been accused of allegedly printing ghost guns using a 3-D printer after being charged with possession of a loaded firearm.  Orange County resident Noah James McCagg, age 21, of Port Jervis, was arrested on Saturday, March 25, following a foot chase by police on Front Street by Port Jervis Police. 34-Year-Old Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child A Hudson Valley man is accused of sexually abusing an underage teen. Following an investigation, New York State Police and the Orange County Child Protective Services determined that Cecilio Navarro, age 34, of Middletown, had engaged in sexual contact with a child under the age of 15. Navarro was arrested Tuesday, June 14, on two counts of rape and predatory sexual assault against a child, all felonies. He was also charged with misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child. Navarro was arraigned in the City of Newburgh Court and ordered held at the Orange County Jail

Troopers stopped Orange County resident Michael Maisonet, age 44, of New Windsor, at around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, as he drove on Renwick Street in Newburgh.
