'Best NY Burger' Nominees Include 2 Capital Region Restaurants
When it comes to the best burger in New York, two contenders vying for the title aren't very far away.
Rensselaer County eatery Illusive, located in Rensselaer at 3 Ferry Street, and Columbia County’s Chatham Brewery, found in Chatham at 59 Main Street, are among 29 restaurants that were nominated for this year’s Best New York Burger Competition.
Voting for the 7th annual contest, which is put on by the New York Beef Council, is underway until Wednesday, April 19.

These Eateries In Top 10 For Statewide NY Best Burger Contest
The New York Beef Council has announced the top 10 contenders for the best burger in the state.
The organization announced the top 10 burgers on Monday, April 18, and said voting would end on Sunday, April 24.
An Orange County restaurant, Ben's Fresh, which is located in Port Jervis, made the list with its "Benny Burger," and Illusive Restaurant & Bar, located in Rensselaer, also was voted among the top eateries for its "The Empire Smash Burger."
