A 32-year-old Hudson Valley man was apprehended after trying to break into an ATM at a Northern Westchester gas station and fleeing into the woods with his accomplice who remains at large, police said. The attempted theft happened on Thursday, Sept. 19 around 3:15 a.m., when a Bedford resident reported seeing two suspects trying to break into the ATM at a Mobil gas station at 193 Pound Ridge Rd. A lucky winner is set to receive a thousand dollars every day after buying the right lottery ticket at a Hudson Valley gas station. A top-prize-winning CASH4LIFE ticket worth $1,000 a day was sold in Putnam County for the drawing on Friday, Aug. 30 at a Brewster gas station, New York Lottery officials announced. The ticket, worth a guaranteed $7 million, was sold at a Mobil gas station located at 1569 Route 22, officials added. The winning numbers were 10 12 14 28 29 with a Cash Ball of 03.

A pair of PICK 10 tickets – worth $500,000 each – was sold in Albany, at the Mobil station located at 247 New Scotland Avenue, New York Lottery announced. The lucky tickets were purchased for the drawing held on Sunday, April 14. PICK 10 numbers are drawn from a field of one to 80. Hudson Valley Man With 27 Arrests Busted Again For Robbery, Police Say
A man with 27 prior arrests who is on parole has been busted again for allegedly robbing a Hudson Valley gas station. Ulster County resident Michael J. Brooks, age 62, of Plattekill, was charged on Friday, Feb. 23 in the town of Lloyd. According to Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, Brooks robbed the Mobil gas station on Grand Street in Highland of $2,800 on Wednesday, Feb. 21. Workers at four businesses have been charged with illegally selling alcoholic beverages to minors during a New York State Police detail in Northern Westchester and Putnam. During the initiative conducted on Saturday, Feb. 4, a total of 17 retail establishments were checked for compliance utilizing a trooper in plain clothes and an underage operative utilizing a valid NY driver’s license.
