Robbery Suspect All Smiles Following Violent Attack At Capital Region Home A 30-year-old man was all smiles after being arrested in connection with a violent robbery that left another person injured at a home in the region. The Saratoga County incident happened at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at a residence on Route 29 in the town of Galway. Sheriff’s officials said Jose Sartin, of Middle Grove, struck another person in the face, injuring them, before forcibly stealing property from the victim. 3 Dogs Starved, Left In 'Severe State Of Malnutrition' By Capital Region Woman, Police Say A woman from the region is facing animal cruelty charges after allegedly starving her three dogs. Saratoga County resident Alexis Hagadorn-Garmley, age 27, of Ballston Spa, was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 11, after deputies found the animals in a “severe state of malnutrition,” according to sheriff’s officials. Deputies began investigating the woman in September 2023 after getting a “dog-at-large” complaint from the Town of Milton Animal Control Office.
