Man From Region Attacks Deputies After Narcan Brings Him Back To Life, Police Say A 40-year-old who overdosed on drugs and was brought back to life with Narcan allegedly attacked deputies who saved him, police said. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Lake Kiamesha around 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 on Route 42. According to Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty, deputies responded to the scene of a vehicle crash and found a 2022 Toyota Prius in a ditch and Robert Forgione, of Loch Sheldrake, sitting on the ground against the car. Welfare Fraud: 5 From Region Nabbed By Task Force With Theft Of Funds Five residents from the region have been charged with defrauding welfare for a range of alleged crimes following an investigation.  The arrests took place in Sullivan County over the past 30 days by the Sullivan County Welfare Fraud Task Force. All five are Sullivan County residents: Jasmine Lambrecht, age 27, of Liberty, was arrested Wednesday, April 19, and charged with offering a false instrument for filing and welfare fraud. Husband, Wife Die After Falling Through Ice In Sullivan County A husband and wife died while on a fishing trip after falling through thin ice in the region. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 8:15 p.m., Monday, Feb. 27 in the hamlet of Loch Sheldrake.
