A Hudson Valley man who allegedly seriously injured another man in a road rage fight has been charged with felony assault.
Ulster County resident Walton R. Gordon, age 31, of Saugerties was arrested on Tuesday, July 11, for the incident which took place on Saturday, June 24.
Saugerties Police responded to a fight in the parking lot of McDonald's on Route 212 where they found the victim, who sustained serious injuries, but Gordon had fled the area, said Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra.

A Hudson Valley mother who was caught on video smoking marijuana while she was driving and allegedly sharing it with juveniles has been charged with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
Ulster County resident Kayla M. Walls, age 39, of Saugerties, was arrested on Tuesday, April 4 for the incident which took place on Tuesday, March 25.
According to Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra, an investigation established that Walls took four juveniles, ages 12 and 13, for a ride in her car.

A Hudson Valley man who was arrested last year for allegedly kidnapping his daughter and hiding her under a staircase for three years has been arrested again for a string of alleged burglaries.
Ustler County resident Kirk D. Shultis, age 33, of Saugerties, was arrested on Wednesday, March 8.
On Friday, Sept. 2, 2022, Saugerties Police responded to a private residence on Malden Turnpike in the town of Saugerties, for a report of a burglary that occurred to both the victim’s residence and garage, said Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra.

A tractor-trailer became stuck on an area mountain road after allegedly ignoring numerous signs that the roadway was closed.
The incident took place in Ulster County on Monday, Feb. 6, and Tuesday, Feb. 7, on Platte Cove Road, in the town of Saugerties.

More than 175 people attended a board meeting to protest an application by an event producer to host a gun show in the Hudson Valley.

Despite a gun show organizer changing his mind about canceling a show on Father's Day weekend due to recent mass shootings, a Hudson Valley town is holding firm.

Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Making Videos, Photographs Of Children Performing Sexual Acts
An 18-year-old Hudson Valley man has been arrested for allegedly producing videos of children performing sexual acts.
The unnamed Ulster County resident, from Kingston, who was underage at the time of the crime, was arrested on Friday, May 13, following a two-month investigation by the Saugerties Police, authorities said.
