A bakery and restaurant owner in the region is having the time of his life selling comedian John Oliver bear cakes after a fake fight with the funnyman over restaurant equipment from a closed Red Lobster. Man Stabs 33-Year-Old Near Shuttered Church In Capital Region, Runs From Cops, Police Say
A 49-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly stabbing another man multiple times near a shuttered church in the region. Emergency crews in Albany were called at around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, for a stabbing near Central Avenue and Robin Street. The incident happened just steps from the Blessed Hope Worship Center, which is now listed as permanently closed. Officers found a 33-year-old man suffering from stab wounds to his back and torso, according to Albany Police.
