Fatal Crash Involving Deer: 28-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Region A young man has died after a vehicle crashed into a deer in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 6:50 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 in Orange County on Route 302 near the intersection with State Route 17K in the town of Crawford. Stephen Montgomery, age 28, of Pine Bush was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound when the deer crossed his path, causing the collision. Driver Critical Following 3-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash One person is in critical condition following a three-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Orange County around 12:16 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, on Route 211 West in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, officers arrived to investigate the crash and found that one driver of a motorcycle was suffering from serious injuries. He was rushed to Garnet Medical Center in Middletown and is listed in critical condition, McLymore said.
